Jean-Michel Cousteau the legendary, explorer, environmentalist, educator and film producer, recently became a collector of Richard Vever's paintings.
Richard Vevers supports Jean-Michel's Ocean Futures Society, a non-profit marine conservation and education organization that serves as a 'Voice for the Ocean' by fostering a conservation ethic, conducting research, and developing marine education programs. Richard Vevers' 2003 Sydney exhibition held at Global Gallery in Paddington was a great success with over 20 new works sold. Over 250 people attended the opening night.

After two very successful years, Underwater Australia is pleased to announce that it has opened a gallery in Sydney - located at 1 Edgecliff Road, Woollahra.

The first solo exhibition in the new gallery - George Evatt's The Art of Ocean Swimming - is a huge success. Over 30 works were sold in the opening week.
The exhibition was opened by swimming legend Shane Gould with crowds spilling out onto the street.
